Hi! Kamusta!

I use she/her/siya pronouns. I am a Filipinx settler, daughter of immigrants, sister, auntie, playwright, and freelance dramaturg.

With a focus on community building, collaboration, decolonization, and spiritual/ancestor-informed practices, I strive to break theatrical and storytelling norms.

I was a Playwrights Theatre Centre Associate (2021-2024), and am a Resident Dramaturg of Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre’s Creation Lab (formerly known as the MSG Lab) — in addition to taking on freelance dramaturgical, and story/grant editing work.

With the care and support of many, I am exploring trauma and colonialism in the Philippines, and its relation to our folklore, legacy, and spiritual safety in a new show, “Engkanto.”
